Wimberley Blanco and Southern.
Thursday, 8:00 AM
Host: Ralph Alexander

OK you Steam buffs.  Well, smaller scale anyway.   Mr. Edwards, the Chief Operating officer and President of the WB&S has offered to have his layout open for the convention.  This is a bus trip from the Hotel to the site.   When you get there, there will be Steam Passenger  trains ready to take away.  You climb and move out of the station along a double track railroad spanning Hill country creeks and dales.  The puffing exhaust as the engines climb the long grade is a sound and sight to behold.   Lunch will be served and in the early afternoon, the bus will return you to the convention hotel.   This is a rear treat and for those that have never ridden behind live steam models, this is a great place to start.  Sign up early for this one as we are sure space will go quickly.
