I am glad
to report that the team has been successful in meeting the
registration information deadline. You can see this in the Spring
Marker Lamp and of course, the website. A lot of work in hammering
the final details but I believe that those attending will have a
great adventure.
For the Ladies, the Central Market Place Class is a treat that will
delight all that attend. Here is our Event Coordinator. Ms Evie
Scott to tell us about it. Alamo Rails
Central Market Cooking Class & Lunch
Whatever your level of expertise in the kitchen, you’ll always learn
something new and exciting at HEB’s Central Market Cooking School.
They have earned a reputation for world-class instruction by
offering culinary expertise from their talented chefs as well as a
diversity of local, regional and nationally known chefs and culinary
instructors. We will travel to HEB’s Central Mkt. by private van.
Cooking School is scheduled for noon and lunch is after class. You
will get a chance to do a little shopping or browsing at Central
Market before we return to the hotel.
The Prototype tours are geared for the model
railroaders. The quarry, with its gravel cars and buildings will
give modelers ideas as to how the actual quarries handle the tons of
material that is needed to keep the construction industry going.
Don Scott has some information on that. |
